Meet our Staff

Jazmin Patino

Jazmin Elizabeth Patiño grew up in Highwood Illinois, and went to Highland Park High School. A Sociology and Anthropology at St. Olaf College in May of 2023, Jazmin is the Summer Education Intern at Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods. During Jazmin’s time at Brushwood, Jazmin has been learning more about the Environmental Justice issues that occur here in Lake County, where she is a resident. Jazmin helps the It’s a W.I.N team distribute the 1,500 Nature Explorer Backpacks this year, and assists with facilitating field trips in Highwood, Waukegan, and at Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods. Throughout working with Brushwood, Jazmin has learned what goes into the coordination of events and the collaboration of partnership. Jazmin is extremely proud to be a Summer Education Intern this Summer!
