BASE: Open Art Workshop

You Choose the Project · Use Tools and Supplies from BASE · Get Help When You Need It

Want to learn to knit? Need to repair a mosaic? Want to try your hand at oil paints, but don’t know where to start? There’s no need to sign up for a formal class or invest in lots of supplies just to give it a try! In this workshop series, you get to decide the project, and you get access to all the tools and supplies in BASE (Brushwood Art Supply Exchange)!

Projects can be big or small, quick and easy or long-term and complex. You can work independently, or work with an instructor who will help you get the supplies, tools and knowledge you need to get started on the project of your choice.

Open Art Workshop is open to anyone who wants to make something in any area of visual arts and crafts, from the professional artists looking for a community of others to work with, to the complete novice who just wants to try something out in a low pressure environment, or the family looking for a fun kids’ activity to fill their afternoon – this workshop is for you!
