Summer Education Internship
Brushwood Center is seeking an enthusiastic candidate with experience in youth programming and/or
education, as well as a passion for community engagement and the outdoors. The Summer Education
intern will work closely with Brushwood Center’s It’s A W.I.N. (Art and Wellness in Nature) team,
including the Youth Education Coordinator and Senior Program Director, as well as the Communications
Coordinator. The intern will primarily focus on supporting summer education programs and distribution
events for the Nature Explorer Backpack / Mochilas de Explorador project.
HEN Accelerator Community Research Internships
Brushwood Center seeks two enthusiastic candidates with experience in community engagement, as well as a passion for public health and the outdoors. The Health Equity & Nature (HEN) Youth Leadership Cohort will work closely with the Coalition Building Manager, Senior Program Director, Lead Research Fellow, and Communications team. The cohort members will primarily focus on projects that move forward recommendations from the 2023 Health Equity and Nature Report, as well as supporting nature and health equity focused collaborations in Lake County.
