SUMMARY:Convergence at College of Lake County
DESCRIPTION:Convergence at College of Lake County\n\n\n\nConvergence: Health Equity in a Changing Climate is a signature concert experience that translates data on health equity in Lake County\, Illinois into art.  \n\n\n\nConvergence shares the lived experiences of communities in our area that are affected by environmental racism and health inequities using original music\, illustration\, and storytelling. Guided by Brushwood Center’s Ensemble-in-Residence\, Black Moon Trio\, this concert features live music and original artwork\, complemented by filmed narration in English and Spanish. \n\n\n\nThis premier event will also feature a dance performance by local community members and College of Lake County students. A display of sustainability-themed artwork by College of Lake County students and local community members will be on display outside of the auditorium before and after the concert.
